Wendy’s Picks: March

Welcome to my shiny new series: “Wendy’s Picks.”

A curated list of my favourite health, wellness, and lifestyle products I am currently obsessing over and using in my day to day, for optimum health and vitality.

I have a journalism degree and I am a big advocate in only pitching and promoting things I genuinely love and have made a change / impact for me.

Here are some of my favourites I have been using fo

I would love to hear from you - let me know if you have used these products before!

Tallowbalm by TUTTOFARE

I am usually down for trying anything… anything to help my health and wellness. And by anything, I mean, anything. But one thing I had never gotten around to trying, was Tallowbalm. Yes you read that correctly, Beef Fat.

Beef Tallow has an incredible ability to mimic the skin, naturally containing vitamins A,D,E,K and B12, plus conjugated linoleic acid and niacin. Tallow’s fat soluble vitamins and its activators work together harmoniously to improve cell regeneration, fine lines, skin tone and the appearance of UV damaged skin.

It’s naturally packed with a dense concentration of fatty acids, increasing the skin’s hydration by bringing natural oil production back into balance. Tallow “cocoons” the skin, nurturing and protecting the skin by creating a barrier.

I love how great it smells, it’s so easy to apply, so minimal, and I have completely cut down my skincare routine. I have been using “The Holy Grail” but recently purchased “Roman Blue” to help support some current hormonal breakouts.

I love what Laura has created, a sustainable, Australian first GMP-certified tallow skincare, processing ingredients as little as possible and using techniques to preserve their integrity and efficacy.

It’s also safe to use while pregnant and on children! You can check out TUTTOFARE Tallow Balm here.

Sea Moss - Nature’s Farmers Gel

After being influenced by the latest TikTok trends, and my Personal Trainer, I decided to bite the bullet and give Sea Moss a go. At first, I thought, “Ew, I can’t get past this texture.” But after a few days, it was giving “baby food” and tasted so delicious. I finished the entire tub within a few weeks (almost a month) and didn’t think much of it. It wasn’t until I went WITHOUT it for a few weeks, did I notice, my bowel movements had changed. And I realised, “OMG, it was the SeaMoss.”

Sea Moss is a sea vegetable and one of nature’s most nutrient dense powerhouses, and according to archeologists, have been used for its powerful healing benefits for approximately 14,000, dating back to 600BC. The seaweed offers natural properties that nourish both the body and mind, such as improved immune system, improved gut health, can support skin health and collagen production, help improve mood support and can decrease symptons of anxiety, and so many more!

You can shop Sea Moss online here, or find it at your local health food store.

Sauerkraut - Peace, Love and Vegetables

This one isn’t necessarily new, but deserves a spot in this month’s roundup. Gut integrity is everything to me. Without our gut health, our health cannot be optimised. According to Hippocrates, “All disease begins in the gut.” An easy way to improve gut health, is by adding fermented foods, packed with probiotics! Sauerkraut is delicious, so vibrant in colour and an essential to any of my meals.

I love the Peace, Love and Vegetables brand, they are handmade products full of the highest quality organic ingredients, including medicinal herbs, spices and native Australian bush foods that help take them to superfood status.

My pro tip: always start slow and small. Less is more. By overloading too many fermented foods to your plate, you can be overloading your gut and making it worse! Start slow and steady.

You can shop Peace, Love and Vegetables range here or find them at your local health food store.

Prism Oracle Cards

You may have seen these on my Instagram lately. As a Libra, I am naturally drawn to aesthetics, and fell in love with the colours of this deck! But it goes deeper than this. I love how this deck explores the link between colour and emotions, associating each with an energy. It’s also very modern with its super cool illustrations, the shiny glossy mettalic edges, and the rainbow coloured, foil stamped box.

I realised I had lost a bit of touch with connecting with my higher self and my guides. I had lost my practice and was feeling so lost, so airy (not grounded) and just on auto pilot every single day.

These beautiful cards helped me connect with myself and spirit in a fun, bright, colourful way.

You can buy them online here or search on Amazon.

These are all products I personally use and are not sponsored.
